CEELE

CEELE

CEELE is an acronym which stands for “Calidad en la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera” or “Quality in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language.” CEELE accreditation is granted to deserving schools only after a rigorous review of their qualifications by the prestigious Department of Modern Languages of the University of Alcalá de Henares, and by Eduespaña.

To receive CEELE accreditation, a programme must meet internationally recognized, strict standards concerning the curriculum, teacher qualifications, quality of teaching and materials, student-teacher ratio, and attention devoted to students (i.e., lodging, special needs, airport pick-up, certificates and grading). Other factors, including: the extracurricular activities, facilities, equipment, and student exam results are also reviewed to determine whether the school meets the CEELE high standard of quality.
